Reel to Reel Mastering
We will master your mix with analog outboard processing to our Ampex/Revox reel to reel stereo tape recorder using world class SM911 mastering tape. Using the best digital converters from Universal Audio, the master will be translated back to a wav file.
Tape warmth adds a level of color to the sound, primarily softening the attacks of musical notes, and thickening up the low frequency range. Recording at slightly hot levels to analog tape can also produce a nice distortion optimised for electronic music.
Analog tape Mastering makes your mix stand out compared to other digital masters. Masters can be optimised for all streaming services, Vinyl, Cassette and CD releases.
Lead time: 24-48hrs
After checkout you can find your order number and instructions to submit your stems or pre-master(s)
For best results we recommend this format:
-6db, 24 bit 44.1khz .wav files with no compression or limiting on the master channel.
*Price per track
